Sometimes it helps to know the animal and the owner well as you know how far you can get away with pushing the picture in an unusual direction! My sister has a pair of tights the colour of these yellow stars- so that’s my justification for that!!
Why stars?? WHY NOT ?
This one was a gift- well more of an excellent trade really as it was my sister who designed and made my lovely new website www.lucyburtonart.com.
Sometimes it’s helpful too test out an idea in acrylics on the under-painting first before committing to it in oils. It helps you get your thoughts in order on how you’re going to tackle it.
He is pretty big, as rabbits go. he has a diet of green beans, carrots and fingers!! 🤣👈
