My submission for ‘sky arts portrait artist of the week’.
This week’s sitter was the Journalist & BBC presenter ‘Clive Myrie’
Over 1700 people painted him on Sunday morning via ‘Sky arts’ on ‘Facebook Live’ and submitted there works to Instagram to be judged using the hashtag #mypaotw.
Progress after 4 hrs…(in total it took about 7 hours)
Normally I start with the eyes, but today - it was the lower lip!
I’m loving the combination of the muted greens, pinks and oranges around the right eye.
That coral coloured scarf worked so well against his skin tones and you can see how the ‘spicy red’ background flows through it here.
