I love the way the whiskers lay on the floor on this one and there are some ‘lost edges’ in there too - can you spot them? I always try to look where to place the 3 types of edges in a painting… ‘hard edges’, ‘soft edges’ and the special ‘lost edges’…they are the most interesting ones…where the edge of the object is lost to the background.

I will be teaching workshops in different locations this year called ‘Pet Portraits with Personailty’.
