‘PUFFIN’ 8” x 8” Oil on Board

I was inspired to paint this little guy after watching ‘Painting Birds’ with Jim Moir. I really like how the colour of their feet is reflected back off the feathers on the tummy. This composition had the added features of the lichen on the rocks and the little fish too.
