This was a special commission to be given to the lady that has lived here and nurtured this beautiful garden for the last 60 years.  Her late husband is tending to the roses under the beech tree.

Rarely am I given such a good photograph to work from… it was tricky to know how to improve upon it really but I think I’ve managed to put my artistic spin on it!

Framed simply without glass.
