I’m loving this crop with Morgan’s body bending in and out of the frame. The photo was taken on a beach that is special to the family and I think the sandy colour works well with the blues and purples in the fur. To you, the viewer, it is a picture of a happy dog…me - I see a thousand tiny decisions…each mark I make I am choosing- the colour the angle and the direction. Painting can be far from relaxing sometimes - every mark you make has the potential to make or break a painting.
