DAHLIA & FRAMED PAINTINGS

I thought it might be interesting to readers to take some photos of paintings from my collection, that I have framed and to put them alongside some beautiful objects that I have collected over the years. The first is a new one, 12” x 12” with an acrylic underpainting and oils as a second layer to enhance the Dahlia and create the ‘Willow Tit’. I like the unusual format of the square within a square, the light and dark pastel shades. I can see myself returning to this format again…
