A BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO PAINTING FLOWERS LOOSELY IN OILS (or acrylics)

This class is designed to help us ‘loosen up’ whilst learning the basic principles of Colour Mixing, Composition and Brushwork.  Aimed at those who would like to try oil paints for the first time and those that would like to find ways to loosen up their style and paint more freely.

We will go ‘step by step’ through exercises to help us prepare our colours and surface ready for painting a single rose.  We will simplify it down into basic shapes and tones then do a series of exercises that encourage us to paint confidenty in an economical yet inventive way!  Are you intrigued?
