New challenge- painting white flowers! I love the peaches with the lilacs. I also resisted the temptation to put in every little detail that I saw...block in the main shapes, see what space you’ve got left in between then do what works for the painting seems to be my thinking at the moment.
I can’t keep calling these ‘flowers in a vase’ so I’ve decided to name these paintings based on something that happened during the day...
I’m itching to get my hanging baskets out but it’s still too cold at night- and today we had hail! Come on spring- let’s do it!
