RUNNER BEANS & TEE-PEES

Today was all about the runner beans! I’ve realised that its not just about the plant but the structure on which they are supported and grow…I loves the tee-pee of poles, the way the beans hung and curled and the little pops of intense orange from their flowers. I needed a bit of colour to differentiate the beans from the poles! Love the way the tendrils spiral around the poles to hold up the plant. I didn’t realise that the lady who gardens this allotment was there - but when she did appear she asked if i’d like some for my dinner! - yes please!
