A lovely event with lots of interested visitors enjoying the spectacle of 75 artists around the grounds!
Here’s my finished piece after the days painting at the 'Plein Air' Event held by @warwickshireopenstudios today @charlecotepark in Warwickshire.. I used a mix of really thick opaque paint on the mid ground trees, thin transparent paint on the topiary and left the tonal underpainting showing through for the path. I was really happy with the result - painting outdoors is very different to painting in the comfort of your studio!
